On November 10, 2023, the Link 101 Project Team released a summary document for Public Information Meeting #2. These meetings occurred between August 02, 2023 and August 08, 2023 in various locations in Southeastern, Indiana. 

A key note in the summary document is the recognition that of the 1,031 commenters, “…92% expressed opposition to the Link 101 project with specific opposition to any new terrain highway built between the Markland Dam and US 50.”

The presence of this in the Link 101 Summary Document presents a strong argument against the Link 101 Project, including the rejection of the proposed benefits for Southeastern, Indiana residents, by Southeastern, Indiana residents. 

The clear preference, based on the summary document, is “No Build.”
